Our counsellors.
WAY IN counsellors are bound by the Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy set out by The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and are members of Youth Access. All have trained for a minimum of 150 hours in skills and theory. Most of them hold an advanced Diploma in Counselling and all counsellors continually up-date their training and are subject to professional supervision. We have both male and female counsellors.
Every counsellor at WAY IN has their own individual style but they will all offer the following to clients:
- they will listen to you, accept you for who you are and be honest with you.
- they will view the counselling session as “your space” and allow you to choose whatever you want to discuss.
